"There is no case around TBC," the Prime Minister of Georgia said in a video posted on social network where he answered the questions.
In response to questioned asked in a live broadcast, Mamuka Bakhtadze said that investigation is underway not on the Bank"s case, but on the other transaction which involves concrete individuals.
"There is no case around TBC. I have repeatedly said this. "TBC Bank" and the National Bank made a joint statement and that is the case and this problem is exhausted. The case and the investigation is underway on a different transaction where individuals participate, "- Bakhtadze said.
Mamuka Bakhtadze speaks about Anaklia"s project and says that the initiators of the idea were they themselves and Georgia will have a deep-sea port.
"The port of Anaklia is an idea born in our political team and at the same time it is the most important part of our economic strategy," he said.
Levan Akhvlediani, the Director General of the Consortium of Anaklia, considers this statement of the Prime Minister as a contradictory assessment of the recent events.
"To tell the truth, there is a double standard from our perspective. On the one hand, the Prime Minister says that it is important, but on the other hand, our consortium that has brought us to this project and I can not say that it was the idea of the government alone. Here we have a very big contribution of the consortium to the project. Therefore, we are interested in timely and successful completion, "said Akhvlediani.
