The survey was prepared by the Georgian Young Lawyers" Association (GYLA) , concerning family and violence against women throughout the whole Georgia. The study provides an analysis of court judgments on criminal cases. Also, attention is paid to issuing protective and restraining orders, which is considered to be one of the main problems. The talk about the neglect on the families of victims of violence by the law enforcement agencies is also concerned. In particular, most of the interviewed people say that the police do not monitor theses facts. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as prosecutors, judges and attorneys are invited to the meeting.
