According to the report, foreign countries and their special services are increasingly actively using cybersecurity because of their own interests.
A significant risk to the security of the country is the implementation of cyber attacks on government and critical infrastructure targets by specialized services of foreign countries and their controlled hacker groups.
The report states that the stakeholders of the "hybrid war" have been actively used by destructive political forces and social groups, as well as media outlets and social networks.
The assessments of the State Security Service report were also made in the Parliament.
Giorgi Tughushi, member of the "European Georgia" emphasized the issue of occupation and noted that nothing has been done by the state security in this regard and it was not moving forward.
"Occupation is one of our biggest problems, including the threats that come from Russia, but when we are asking what the security services are doing in order to neutralize these threats, and what is being done about the occupied territories, you know that there are standard answers that they are working, but results are very hard, including some of our murdered citizens, "Tugushi said.
