Promoting illegal migration will be punishable. Tamar Khulordava, the Chairman of the European Integration Committee presented the legislative initiative today.

According to her initiative, those individuals, who will promise to help the citizens of Georgia to find a job and live illegally in the European countries in exchange for money will be charged with criminal responsibility.

" Number of those, who ask for asylum without any grounds has increased, so we are now obliged to show the will of the state," Khulordava said.

According to the ruling team, this decision will reduce the number of asylum seekers.
