After 4-hour waiting, the City Court postponed the hearing of the case of activists detained on Chavchavadze Avenue.
The process was to start at 14:00, but the judge did not appear in the courtroom. A few minutes ago it became known that the process was postponed.
The rally participants were detained on April 1, when they were on solidarity action of workers who died during construction.The prosecution accused them of disobedience and hooliganism.
Vakhushti Menabde, a member of the Georgian Young Lawyers" Association (GYLA), is among the detainees who demanded showing video at today"s trial. The police accuses him of verbal abuse, but Vakhushti Menabde says there was no insulted from his side. Menabde asks law enforcers to submit their evidence to him.
