The prisoner"s case, which have self- inflicted injuries in the Batumi prison, will be studied by the public defender. Ombudsman"s representative has already visited all three of them. According to Giorgi Charkviani, two of them have self-inflicted injuries on the hand and one has an injury from piercing neck with the metal wire . The reason for the protest is that the prisoners are in unbearable conditions and under pressure from the prison administration. There are other prisoners who have sent a letter from prison. Special penitentiary service denies the accusations.
