The rescue operation ended near Mamkoda village in Mtskheta district late last night.The rescuers finally managed to bring about 70 people remaining on the second bank of the flooded riverin a strong rainstorm. Among the people on the island that originated as a result of heavy rain were juveniles. 25 firefighters were involved in the rescue operation. They rescued the citizens brought with rescue ropes and special equipment.
The cause of the delay in the process was explained in the rescue service by disobedience of several persons .
