More Europe in Georgia and more Georgia in Europe!-European Day was celebrated in Europe Park

Today, the European Day was celebrated in Europe Park.Specially for this day there were tents were set up on the Rike, where information about different European countries was presented.
Georgian Prime Minister, Tbilisi Mayor and EU Ambassador visited the exhibition.The President of Georgia also attended the event. The Heads of State addressed the assembled and highlighted the importance of Georgia and the EU relations. The European Day ended with a concert on Rike.
"Despite our northern neighbor and despite the war that it started, we could not change the path and perhaps the reason for all this and motivation of our neighbor was to try somehow to make Georgia change its chosen way. We want more security, more development, more economic advancement and we are moving in this direction. More Europe in Georgia and more Georgia in Europe, "Salome Zourabichvili said.
Head of the EU Delegation to Georgia also addressed the event. Carl Harzell noted that there is a strong and close connection between Georgia and the EU.
