The representatives of the Hague International Criminal Court and of the Prosecutor Fatu Bensuda office will have a meeting with representatives of Rehabilitation Center for Torture Victims at the Public Defender"s Office today.
Mariam Jishkariani is going to raise the issue of expansion of the investigation period - in addition, the Rehabilitation Center for Torture addresses the Georgian Government with the initiative to grant to the people who lost their homes as a result of war the status of victims and not IDPs .
"There is no adequate attitude towards war victims, and besides these people should have the victim status and not the IDP status," Mariam Jishkariani, director of the psychological rehabilitation center "Empathy" says.
