Members of the anti-occupation movement gathered in the Vake Park and met members of the pro-Russian organization "Immortal Regiment" with shouting.

Members of the pro-Russian organization say that Russia was forced to become an occupant because Georgia has not refused to become a NATO member.

"I prefer Russia. These people have been forced to become occupants by our government"s wrong foreign policy. Because Russia has told us to leave NATO. I want friendship, Russia is a neighbour, "said one of the demonstrators.

One of the participants of the "immortal regiment" says that he loves Putin and does not need Georgia"s occupied regions.

"I love Putin, he is a good President and takes care for his people. He does not have anything in common with our country, " - said a member of the pro-Russian organization.
