The Ministry of Internal Affairs has released a statement last night about the detention of two persons in Zugdidi. According to the information released by the agency, law enforcers have detained young men aged 19 and 20 for illegal purchase and carrying of firearms.
The incident occurred yesterday at the precinct# 87 of Zugdidi.
"According to the investigation, the defendants made several shots in the air in Chavchavadze Street in Zugdidi and disappeared from the scene. Law enforcers seized the weapon of the crime as evidence, and the relevant expertise was scheduled "the report reads.
