The 9th day of protest and hunger strike in Chiatura - Protest rally has already covered the entire city. The hunger strikers and the Georgian Manganese workers came out of the tents and held a protest march in the streets of the city. 15 employees of the Georgian Manganese have applied to the extreme form of protest demanding to increase salaries and improve working conditions.
The number of participants of the e rally is increasing on daily basis.
The rally participants say that until their demands are not satisfied, the protest will not stop.
Miners on strike demand 50% increase in wages and improvement of working conditions.
