The population of seven villages affected by the disaster is asking for help from the authorities.

They have initially assembled near the Mayor"s Office and demanded a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture. The Mayor of Gori met with participants and said that the minister would arrive in Gori at 6:00 PM.

The answer was followed by a protest. The rally participants accused local authorities and the Minister of Agriculture in lies.

Later they moved to the main highway and blocked the road.

Police are mobilized on the spot. The road has been opened since it was reported that Levan Davitashvili would arrive at 4 pm to meet the disaster victims.
