In Gori, a meeting with the Agriculture Minister was disrupted by the disaster-affected population. The farmers have not received any answers from the Minister and are dissatisfied with the meeting. The majority of the victims left the hall. Levan Davitashvili spoke with the victims before they left the hall, about the alleged creation of a commission that would count the losses. Agriculture Minister openly stated at the meeting that the government is not going to reimburse the damage and promised to the affected farmers to install the anti-hail missiles. The victims say that almost all of them have a loan from the bank. They say that hail has destroyed almost everything in the villages and left the population without a source of income. The victims do not rule out the launch of large-scale protest rallies.
We remind you that the population is holding a rally today and asks for compensation after the disaster. The locals say that they suffered great damage after the disaster, but the authorities do not care about their condition.
