A construction of Poti Port, which threatened the Anaklia project, became the subject of discussion at the Committee on Sector Economy. In addition to the opposition, the parliamentary majority also had questions to the Minister of Economy.

Kakha Okriashvili suspects that the information leakage about the construction of a deep-water port in Poti had the specific motivation and it is to damage the Anaklia project.

"This is a leak of the scandalous information, that the investor is going to construct a port there. I believe that this leakage has a motivation and its motive is not to build the Anaklia Port,"- Kakha Okriashvili said.
