The voting process is over - all polling stations closed in the Mtatsminda district

The polling process in Mtatsminda district has been completed. All 31 polling stations were closed at exactly 20:00. Now the counting of votes will begin.
In Mtatsminda district, two majoritarian MP candidates were fighting in the second round of parliamentary by-elections. These are: Lado Kakhadze from "Georgian Dream" and Shalva Shavgulidze from "European Georgia-Free Democrats".
Throughout the day the so-called street boys were mobilized at the polling stations. They and coordinators of the "Georgian Dream" with voter lists registered the voters at the polling stations. Several incidents took place when opposition observers were attacked. The investigation has begun on the facts.
