The organization calls upon the authorities to immediately investigate the threats and assaults and to take effective measures to prevent acts of violence.
"LGBT people are discriminated and persecuted in Georgia, and the authorities often fail to effectively investigate the crimes committed by homophobic and transphobic motive," Amnesty International said in a statement.
