The British Ambassador comments on the developments in front of Parliament on June 20 in Georgia. Justin McKenzie Smith"s believes that the possibility of excessive use of power, which led to violence, must be investigated transparently. The Ambassador recommends the parties to move the process in the format of dialogue.
"We urge transparent, swift and conclusive investigations into possible excessive use of force on 20 June and any actions inciting violence leading up to police response. The involvement of Public Defender is vital. We again call on all sides to prioritize dialogue and compromise, "the British Ambassador wrote.
