Members of the anti-occupation movement demand from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to respond to the situation in David Gareji. Today the movement will hold an organizational meeting, where members will prepare a joint appeal and send it to the Delimitation Commission.
They say the situation is tense on the ground, as the road to the temple has been blocked so far, and the number of Azerbaijani border guards has increased.
"Azerbaijani border guards have built a second military base near the Desert monastery and increased the number of border guards. We will elaborate the appeal text and will appeal to the Delimitation Commission, appeal to our government and request a meeting with public representatives," Davit Katsarava said.
