Anti-occupation rally in Ergneti - Leaders of "European Georgia", along with supporters, are in a village bombed by Russia during the August war. The protesters have performed symbolic kite flights to the occupied villages. The performance was a sign of peaceful de-occupation.
According to Davit Bakradze, their main goal is to show Russian aggression to the world.
"Georgian society will never tolerate occupation. For 2,000 years, the people of Israel and the Jewish people have embraced the idea of Jerusalem. Our main task is to make the world to see that Georgia is a victim and Russia is an aggressor. Statements of Zourabishvili hurts not the previous government but Georgian people," - Bakradze said.
The rally was held in Ergneti today. Civic activists arrived who also protested against Russian occupation. The protesters called on the authorities to do everything possible to force the Russian Federation to leave the territory of Georgia with the help of the international community.
