Members of government commemorated Shindisi heroes.
The Prime Minister laid a wreath at the Memorial of Heroes. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality was in Shindisi together with Mamuka Bakhtadze.
Members of the government recalled the developments, which took place eleven years ago.
“ The centuries-long history of our nation is a struggle for freedom and the unity of our country. Each of these battles gave birth to its heroes. And so it was in August 2008. Our soldiers fell heroically in the unequal battle with the occupant in the village of Shindisi. 17 young Georgian heroes of Shindisi, ”Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
