Mukhran Phangani, accused in connection with the events of June 20-21, was released on bail of GEL 2000.

As “Kurieri” journalist reports from the City Court, Phangani pleaded himself fully guilty and said he would not dispute any evidence from the prosecution.

After the release from court Phangani did not explain why the decision was changed. He initially claimed he did not plead guilty.

According to the indictment, Mukhran Phangani was particularly aggressive on the night of June 20, striking police officers with shields and engaging in physical confrontation with them.

He spent three months in custody. The trial will resume on November 26.
