"Georgia can not be an oasis for foreign defendants", - Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani said of extraditing Russian hacker Yaroslav Sumbaev.

According to Tea Tsulukiani, there were no legal barriers to the process, including from Strasbourg.

In addition, Tsulukiani called the politicians" sharp assessments "a baseless fuss."

"I have a letter from the Strasbourg court refusing to suspend this extradition. The Strasbourg court does not consider Sumbayev to be subject to any kind of inhumane treatment. Everyone should know that Georgia is not a haven for criminals," Justice Minister Hussain said.
