What additional funds does the church receive from the budget?

According to the "Money Waste Detector", only in 2017 Saburtalo district administration transferred additional 150 000 GEL for installation of fireplace and plastic door in a particular temple.

According to the NGO, as a whole, the direct funding allocated from the Georgian budget to the Patriarchate has totaled about GEL 400 million over the past 15 years. Funding for the Patriarchate and its various institutions has increased dramatically in the pre-election period.
