It was a direct threat and goes beyond the sphere of freedom of expression - the Ombudsman

If they give me tickets, I"ll be happy to attend the premiere. Public Defender Nino Lomjaria said in response to the developments around the movie "And Then We Dance".

According to her, the noise around the film as a direct threat and medieval thinking, which goes beyond freedom of expression.

“What we heard that they are going to block buildings, their entrances, disrupt premiere of the movie, is a direct threat. All this is not an area protected by freedom of expression and that is why we urged both the protesters and the MIA to take necessary measures to ensure that the freedom of movement of others, the rights and safety of others are not jeopardized. I hope that the police will be mobilized and I hope that any complication will be avoided… Freedom of creativity is guaranteed by the constitution of our country. No one can forbid or determine what type of film should be made, released or watched", - said the Public Defender.
