Georgian Dream deputy Revaz Arveladze not allowed to enter Parliament

The first deputy appeared at the Parliament, while the entrance is picketed by protesters, was Revaz Arveladze, a member of the Parliamentary Majority. He was not allowed to enter the building.

Arveladze was planning on attending the sitting of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee at 12:00.
The lawmaker has already left.
Protesters call him a “slave”.
According to Revaz Arveladze, the participants of the rally are misleading and it is unacceptable to make demands by force.
“I do not consider the behavior of the 40 lawmakers who did not vote on this bill to be correct. Although I thought that the majoritarian system is better, the team decided and I agreed. I came here today, because here is my job. They didn"t allow me to enter. I didn"t hurt anyone, everyone have its own opinion. Everyone has the opportunity to express their opinions.
Those who are now at the protest rally think they represent the whole of Georgia”, - said Revaz Arveladze.
