The Tbilisi City Court has sentenced former Justice Minister Zurab Adeishvili to 5 years and 3 months of imprisonment into Cartu Bank’s bankruptcy case.

Besides, one of the opposition leaders Nika Melia was acquitted in one episode of Cartu Bank’s bankruptcy case, while he was found guilty in another episode: abuse of power.

He was fined GEL 25 000 and was also deprived of the right to hold a public office for 2 years and 3 months.
