The leader of the Labor Party responded to the statement of the Public Defender regarding the fact of “informal governance” in the prisons. According to Shalva Natelashvili, existing Government gave to the criminal complete freedom of action. According to him, there are the dictatorship of criminality and oligarchy in the country:

“Thieves and criminals not only have special zones and prisons, but they are already tackling political issues, rigging elections, terrorizing people, hunting for voters. They are standing in front of polling stations and loudly threatening the population. There is a dictatorship of criminality and oligarchy in Georgia”, - said Natelashvili.
