Doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili remains in detention

The so-called district court of occupied Akhalgori has left Doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili in two-month detention.

According to existing information, the so-called closed trial was attended by Vazha Gaprindashvili together with his lawyer from Vladikavkaz.

The next session is scheduled for next week.

Russian occupation forces detained Vazha Gaprindashvili on November 9 in Akhalgori district. He was charged with “premeditated violation of the border” and sentenced to two months of pretrial detention on December 15.
