The President, who is not a member of any party, should not interfere in the opinions of political parties. Such a statement Salome Zourabichvili made while responding to the journalist’s question regarding the electoral system.

She did not specify which electoral system she supports.
“As president, I have no right to press upon the society with my opinion. I would like to see any solution on this issue as well as on many other issues, which is necessary for the stability of the country”, - concluded Zourabichvili.
She hopes that ruling party and opposition will reach an agreement on the issue.
