European Union Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell said that talks between the opposition and the authorities were difficult yesterday, but he expressed hope that a fourth round of the negotiations would also take place.

“Yesterday"s talks were quite difficult. Most importantly, all parties are eager to continue seeking agreement to identify the areas that can be discussed. We, as mediators, are trying to find ways to continue it and then to advise the parties to hold another round of talks”, - concluded the Ambassador.

The initiators of political dialogue between the authorities and the opposition are the diplomats.
