The Public Defender of Georgia Nino Lomjaria met Landa Toloraia, the State Inspector in order to discuss the case of 15-year-old Luka Siradze’s suicide.

According to Ombudsman, there were the violations during the teenagers testimony.

“There is evidence that Juvenile Justice Legislation has been violated and that there was pressure on juveniles to testify.

The investigation confirmed the violations. The timing and duration of the questioning are also questionable. It was allegedly held at night, which is a violation of the law. There was no environment free of psychological pressure.

Those questioned at the police station were not informed that it was a voluntary action, - said the Public Defender.
