Irakli Gharibashvili summed up 100-day work as the Minister of Defense of Georgia. According to the Minister, a strong state is based on a strong army.

As Gharibashvili said, starting from January 2020 wounded or injured Georgian soldiers will receive monthly salary supplements between 200-800 GEL based on their physical condition: “Caring about our soldiers, who sacrifice their health and life to our welfare, is our obligation”.  

The Minister underlined that our partners acknowledge the excellence of our military, their professionalism, and readiness.

“Our soldiers are ambassadors of our country, protecting the peace, both inside and outside. During these 100 days, we have taken important steps. The new vision will substantially improve both the living and social conditions of our soldiers. They will be able to buy apartments at affordable prices, built by the state-owned company. The military will buy it at half the price”, - said Gharibashvili.
