The Minister of Defense of Georgia initiated the establishment of a Day of Wounded and Injured Military Servicemen.

Irakli Gharibashvili made comments at the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation event.

“Starting from January 2020, wounded and injured military servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, taking into consideration traumas and general physical conditions, will be paid salaries from GEL 200 to 800”, - said the Minister.

He thanked US partners and the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation for help.
