The Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lia Gigauri responded on the ultimatum of Anatoly Bibilov, according to which Georgian authorities should remove the checkpoint in the village of Tsnelisi.
According to Gigauri, it is unacceptable to use the human condition for political purposes and to speculate on humanitarian issues:
“It is unacceptable for our Government to use their situation for political purposes. Such humanitarian issues cannot be the subject of speculation. We will work even harder with our international partners in order to maximize support to these people and to ensure that these restrictions are lifted in a timely manner”, - said Gigauri.
