The representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia will attend the joint sitting of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations and the Interim Commission on Territorial Integrity and De-occupation.
The main topic of discussion will be the recent developments in occupied Abkhazia.
As the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee said, the members of the committee will decide on the spot whether the session will be closed. Irakli Beraia added that lawmakers will have questions about the ongoing processes in occupied Abkhazia, as well as regarding the situation in the occupied Tskhinvali region.
The members of “European Georgia” and the “United National Movement” will not attend the session.
“The Georgian authorities" activity in respect of the occupied territories is completely unsatisfactory. We see many failures. It is therefore impossible to evaluate them positively. Nothing will be presented to the new committee”, - said Ada Kapanadze.
