Body of the missing young man found in the in Paliastomi Lake

The rescuers found the body of 24-year-old Goga Tavberidze, lost in Poti after three weeks of rescue operations, in Paliastomi Lake.

The search and rescue operations took place at the Paliastomi Lake and Rioni River.

According to the Emergency Management Agency, emergency water rescue and divers teams traveled from Tbilisi to Poti carrying out exploration activities in Paliastomi Lake and Rioni River. The process involved an echo sounder and special sailing techniques. The Drone monitored the area.

As the MIA says, the investigation was launched under article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisaging crimes of driving an individual to suicide.
