Two citizens of China have been admitted to Tbilisi Infectious Deceases Hospital. Such a statement made Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Director General of the National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC).

“I would like to inform you that two more Chinese citizens have been admitted to the infectious deceases hospital today. As we know, they are the workers, who are hired by one of the big infrastructural projects. Our epidemiologists took samples and check these people and the results will be announced later today”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.

He added that Georgia remains in the so-called green zone and the country’s preparedness regime and the measures taken are in full compliance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization.
