If the opposition fails to return to dialogue, it would be a clear signal that they are destructive - Archil Talakvadze

If the opposition fails to return to dialogue, it would be a clear signal that they are destructive. Such a statement made the Speaker of the Parliament.

According to Archil Talakvadze, the ruling party and its partners have the same position that political dialogue is necessary, but the part of the opposition refrains from engaging in dialogue.

“Both the ruling political force and its partners - the U.S. the Council of Europe, the EU - support political dialogue.

Our offer is compromised and fair. We offered 100/50 system for one-time use for 2020. This is a test for the opposition. If the opposition fails to return to dialogue and reach an agreement within this framework, it would be a clear signal that this part of the opposition is destructive and actually supports the destabilization process in the country.

I hope that political forces will return to the framework of dialogue and we will be able to agree on certain rules before the start of the pre-election campaign”, - said Archil Talakvadze.
