29-years-old man arrested in Tbilisi for stealing a moped

Police arrested 29-years-old T.P., convicted in the past, on the charges of robbery.

According to the investigation, the accused stole a moped belonging to a citizen from Tsotne Dadiani Street and fled the scene.

Law enforcers detained him based on the verdict of the judge. Police recovered the stolen moped as proof. The detainee pleaded guilty. The crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation launched under Article 177, Part 3, Subparagraph (d) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, meaning the theft committed against the vehicle.
