Amiran Gamkrelidze calls on universities to use online teaching systems

Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Head of the National Center for Disease Control, calls on universities of Georgia to use online teaching systems in order to prevent the spread of a coronavirus.

“Education is fundamental to us. I urge the universities to start online teaching for some time if they have appropriate technological infrastructure”, - said Gamkrelidze.

He added that intensive disinfection works are being carried out in the building of kindergartens and schools, which are temporarily closed.

The Head of the National Center for Disease Control expressed his gratitude to all organizations that duly follow their recommendations.
