According to the decision of the Inter-agency Coordination Council, all agrarian markets will be closed in Tbilisi from today.

Such decision was made in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“The relevant recommendation has been issued by the Inter-agency Coordination Council and all agrarian markets in Tbilisi are closed from today”, - reads the statement of the Council.

Meanwhile yesterday produce markets were closed in Senaki and Zugdidi as “they failed to follow the recommendations”.
