If recommendations and rules issued by the Government to stem the spread of COVID-19 are properly met, the restrictive measures could be gradually lifted from May. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Parliament.
“Understanding the responsibility by each citizen and following these rules can only be a precondition for our country to maintain a low curve at the next stage of its spread. In any other case, if we ignore these rules and do not help our healthcare system, I think it is clear to everyone that the peak of high prevalence will be inevitable, which will hit our healthcare system and create an increased threat to the citizens.
The better we manage to follow the rules, the sooner we will be able to return to the normal life that we had before the outbreak of COVID-19. Then we will be able to start lifting the restrictive measures step by step from May, taking the real data into account”, - concluded Archil Talakvadze.
