We must take effective steps to be as ready as possible for the peak stage so that to minimize the number of citizens infected with COVID-19. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister’s spokesman Irakli Chikovani.
“The Coordinating Council decided to extend the restriction on the movement of cars as part of the state of emergency from 12:00 on April 17 to the end of April 27. I would like to reiterate that all the measures taken by the Government, all the restrictions and all the recommendations serve only one goal - to minimize the damage that can be caused by COVID-19.
The goal of all restrictions is to protect the lives of each of our citizens, to prevent the spread of coronavirus as much as possible and to give our truly heroic doctors the opportunity to provide all our citizens with high quality services and to fight for their lives. The low rate of cases of COVID-19 in the country was a result of the strict restrictions”, - concluded Chikovani.
