The Government of Georgia will present today a draft anti-crisis plan. The anti-crisis measures should help the country recover, will include steps for targeted social assistance, as well as measures to help businesses recover from the crisis.
According to Kurieri, under the pandemic, USD 300 mln will be spent on the health sector, half a billion- on businesses, and USD 1 billion on funding for individuals.
The Government initially carried out certain measures in parallel to efforts in curbing the pandemic that meant covering of payments for communal services for March-May period, maintaining prices on nine basic food products as well as attraction of more than USD 3 billion from international donors.
