The issue of negotiations was not and could not be the intervention into the activities of judicial and prosecuting bodies. Such a statement made today the Minister of Justice of Georgia.
“Today the Chairman of the Parliament urged our friends, Ambassadors, who mediated election talks between the ruling party and the opposition, to confirm that the Georgian Dream made no such kind of promise. To confirm that the issue of negotiations was not and could not be the intervention into the activities of judicial and prosecuting bodies or intervention into the activities of President when it comes to any type of request to pardon prisoners.
It’s truly unfortunate that the unanimity that exists within the Georgian Dream team today to make our electoral system more proportionate, is not supported by the radical opposition. They spoke about the topics that are close to absurd”, - said Tea Tsulukiani.
