Giorgi Gakharia talked about this issue during the presentation of the anti-crisis plan in the field of agriculture.

“Today all farmers in Georgia, whose number is 42 000, will be completely exempted from irrigation fees, they will have free irrigation water during 2020.

At the same time, I would like to inform you that for every farmer who needs to buy equipment, organize a greenhouse or an irrigation system, the state will make direct financial assistance, and cover 50% of the cost of this work. It will be a grant.

These programs will be launched on May 20”, - concluded the Head of the Government.
