The 63-year-old man from Akhalgori is another victim of inhuman restrictions - Ketevan Tsikhelashvili

The 63-year-old man from Akhalgori is another victim of inhuman restrictions. Such a statement made today Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.

“First of all, I express my condolences to the family members of Jumber Miladze, a 63-year-old man from Akhalgori, who was transported from the occupied territories through the Red Cross yesterday and died before being taken to the hospital.

Now an examination is underway. But as far as I know, the man had a stroke, a few days ago he was taken from Akhalgori to Tskhinvali hospital, which is associated with quite difficult serpentine in the high mountains, which causes complications in similar patients.

His family was trying to take him to the Georgia-controlled territory for several days, but his transportation was delayed and the health condition of the patient deteriorated.

Unfortunately, this is yet another victim of the inhuman and illegal restrictions faced by the isolated population in Tskhinvali”, - concluded the State Minister.
