The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development spoke with the Hungarian Ambassador about the preparations of the tourism sector.

During the meeting, the parties focused on the resumption of direct flights between the two countries, the implementation of safety standards in the field of tourism, and forming the green corridor.

“Hungarian tourists may prove one of the first after the coronavirus lockdown entering our country. Today, I met with the Hungarian Ambassador, and she confirmed that Hungarian citizens immensely want to visit Georgia. Official procedures will soon be completed, and we will be prepared to host European tourists”, - said Natia Turnava said after the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Georgia, Victoria Horvath.
