Levan Varshalomidze, who headed the government of Adjara between 2004 and 2012, will chair the United Investment Office in Ukraine which will be created soon, Ukrainian media outlets cited President Volodymyr Zelensky as saying. 

According to Zelensy, Levan Varshalomidze, is a person, who “built Batumi”.

Mikheil Saakashvili was recently appointed as the chair of the executive committee of the Ukrainian National Reforms Council.
